This walk will begin at Castleview Road car park, Whitehead at 10.45am

For those travelling by train - depart GCStation at 9.45am, Lanyon Place at 9.55 am. Arriving Whitehead at 10.31am. Castleview car park is about 5 minutes walk from the railway station, near the Railway Museum.

The walk is along the coastal path to Blackhead Lighthouse and back. Distance about 5 miles. A short steep section to the lighthouse. Plenty of options for lunch or bring packed lunch. As usual, dress for the weather.
