This is a circular route starting at The Barn, Saul, and will take in about 5 miles (2 and half hours ish) of lonans and small roads - with great views!

We meet at The Barn pub and restaurant which has car parking at the rear. The walk will commence at 10.30am. Boots and poles and long trousers are recommended. A good selection of food and drink is available at the pub, or packed lunches can be eaten at their covered tables outside.

Getting there - Those who wish to car share can meet at Cairnshill Park and Ride on the Saintfield Road at 9.30. On to Downpatrick, turn left at the roundabout and take the Strangford Road (to the right of the War Memorial). On reaching the Quoile Quay staggered junction, take the Saul/Raholp road on the right hand side. The Barn is approx 1 mile along this road on the right.
