Meeting at the National Trust CP at Kearney for a 10.30 start.

Car parking is free and there are toilets available at the village. The walk takes us along the coast towards Cloughy, the path is level although at some points we will walk along the beach. We will walk as far as Silver Bay caravan park and either return the same way or by road depending on weather conditions. Please bring boots, walking poles and a picnic lunch. We will have our lunch at Kearney village after the walk. Distance: approx 5-6 miles.

Directions to Kearney village, Travel through Newtownards and down the Ards Peninsula towards Kircubbin. On the far side of Kircubbin turn L to go to Cloughy, travel through Cloughy and turn L onto the Manse Rd following directions to Kearney village.
