This Ramble is along the Newry Canal in peaceful countryside from Scarva to Poyntzpass and return. About 4 miles in total.

To car share, meet at 9.45 at Hillsborough Forest car park or at Scarva around 10.30am.

Directions to Scarva - A1 for 1.5 miles and ignoring weighbridge signs for Loughbrickland, take B3 exit towards Loughbrickland/ Tandragee/Rathfriland. Stay on B3 through Loughbrickland and at Y junction veer left onto Scarva Street, signed Scarva A27. Turn left at sign for Tandragee/ Newry B10 and left into car park.
