Assemble at Carrick Little at the public car park on the main (Head) road.

We walk up the Blue Lough quarry track, before turning uphill to Douglas Crag. We cross over to Binnian Lough, then climb the southwest slope of Slieve Binnian to the Back Castles and the Summit Tor. We descend via the East Summit to rejoin Head Road.

Ascent 700m, distance 8 km. time 5 hours.
