Maebh’s Gap (Barnevave) Carlingford.

Meet to Car Share in Hillsborough Forest Park Car Park (right hand side) at 9.15 or at Carlingford Car Park at 10.30 (beside the tourist office on the seafront (toilets here ).
Walk through the village up into the mountain park then on to open hillside with moderate climb to Meabh’s gap.
Descend down to the abandoned village and back to Carlingford via a country road ( approx. 5 miles)
Boots, poles and packed lunch recommended.
