Lough, Summit, and Ridge Trails

Join us for an invigorating walk through the picturesque NTM Divis and Black Mountain trails, including the serene Lough Trail, the majestic Summit Trail, and the breathtaking but muddy Ridge Trail.

Meeting Point

We will meet at the lower car park to begin our walk promptly at 10:30 AM.

Trail Details

·         Total Distance: Approximately 6 miles

·         Options: There are various points where you can choose to turn off earlier if you prefer a shorter walk.

Lunch Break

Lunch will be at The Barn, where we'll have access to toilets. Alternatively, if the weather permits, you can enjoy your packed lunch at the picnic tables outside.

Recommendations

The trails can be muddy with rough ground, so it is recommended to wear boots and bring hiking poles for a more comfortable experience.

Directions

·         Follow Springfield Road to the start of the dual carriageway (Monagh Bypass).

·         Take the first right onto Upper Springfield Road.

·         Continue on Upper Springfield Road until you pass Hannahstown GAA pitch.

·         Take the second right onto Divis Road.

·         Follow Divis Road to the top of the hill where the carpark will be on the left.
