Please print off the Membership Application Form that you can download by clicking on the button to the right. This includes the opportunity to Gift Aid your subscription if you are a tax payer. If you wish to pay by Direct Debit , please also print off the Direct Debit Mandate. Alternatively come along to one of our monthly meetings (see under Events tab), have a coffee and a chat and see what we have to offer. You could pick up an application form there or hand in the completed forms (see above). The meetings are usually held on the last Thursday of every month at 11:00 am with Tea/Coffee available from 10:15 am at the Balmoral Hotel, Blacks Road, Dunmurry.

The Annual Subscription/Donation ...

For the year ending the 31st March 2027 is £15, which ever payment method you use. It is a great help to us if you are a taxpayer and can Gift Aid this amount (please fill in the appropriate part of the application form) but remember if you don't pay or cease to pay tax, you can't do this.

The Annual subscription covers administration charges, e.g. rental of the hall for meetings, postage, affiliation to the Third Age Trust body and 5 copies per year of the Third Age Trust magazine - u3aMatters. Groups are non-profit making; they are run on the principle of 'by the members, for the members'. However some groups do incur a small charge for the use of premises or where a leader with specialist skills is required, e.g. Pilates.

Once you have joined

You will be given a unique membership number, which you should keep handy as you will need it when making payments. You can now participate in our group activities - have a look at our list of Groups from the Groups link above and click on the group name to see more details.

New Members' get-together

A new Members get-together will be held in the Rosetta Room at Saint John's Church at Newtownbreda, Ormeau Road, Belfast on Monday 27th April at 11:00am to 12:30pm

As a New member you are invited and will have the opportunity to meet members of the Committee and other new members. If you have any general questions prior to this meeting, please feel free to ask any committee member by contacting that person using the contact page
